The Ph.D. Program in Marketing recognizes that in a world where data acquisition capabilities improve by the hour, it is the theoretical, analytical, and computational knowledge that allows marketers to identify relevant data, and make sense of it to improve marketing decisions.

Milestones of Ph.D. in Marketing

First-year students in the Master Program in Quantitative Marketing (MSQ) at GSEFM enroll in the same set of courses as the first-year students in the Marketing Ph.D. Program. After passing the qualifying exams at the end of the first year, students in the Master Program are eligible and strongly encouraged to join the Ph.D. Program in Marketing from their second year onwards. The Master Program in Quantitative Marketing is completed with a Master thesis written in the final months of the second year of studies.
